Hull-Sight — Schedule Cleaning
on Data, Not the Calendar.

The decision layer for hull performance. Hull-Sight reads your operating data — routes, water temperature, biological conditions, and speed — and turns it into a clear, ship-by-ship fouling-risk picture. It also keeps every underwater inspection in one place, with automated reporting and AI image analysis.

From Raw Data to a Clear Call

The Question Isn't "Is My Hull Fouled?"
It's "Which One — and When?"

Across a fleet, hulls foul at very different rates. A ship idling in warm, biologically rich water for weeks is a different risk to one running fast on cold, open routes. Hull-Sight captures that difference for every vessel, continuously, so attention and budget go where they actually matter.

The platform converts raw operating data into decision-support — advanced ship-profile specifications layered over routing, sea-temperature, biological, and vessel-speed inputs. The result is a living fouling-risk picture, not a fixed maintenance interval.

It is also the home for your inspection evidence. Every underwater survey — whether flown by Vesselity's ROV service or supplied separately — is stored, analysed, and turned into a report you can act on or hand to class.

  • Prioritise the fleet — see which hulls are trending toward a costly fouling state
  • Avoid wasted cleaning — don't pay for yard time a hull doesn't yet need
  • One source of truth — inspection footage, reports, and history in a single record
  • Compliance-ready — supports the case for your CII and efficiency reporting

What It Does

Two Halves of One Platform.

Hull-Sight brings together a fouling-risk analytics engine and a content-management system for inspection data. One looks ahead; the other keeps the record. Together they close the loop between predicting a problem and proving it.

📈

Fouling-Risk Monitoring

Continuous, data-driven monitoring of marine-fouling risk across the fleet — so a hull that is quietly degrading gets flagged before it shows up on the fuel bill.

🧭

AIS Routing Analysis

Vessel movement is analysed against sea temperature, biological conditions, and speed — the variables that determine how quickly a hull fouls in practice.

🗂️

Inspection Data Management

A content-management system for underwater inspection data: store footage, organise findings, and keep a vessel's full inspection history in one place.

🤖

AI Image Analysis

Automated analysis of inspection imagery to classify and quantify fouling and surface condition — turning hours of video into structured, comparable data.

📝

Automated Reporting

Generate clean, consistent inspection reports without manual assembly — ready for technical managers, owners, or a classification society.

Fleet-Wide Overview

See the whole fleet at a glance and drill into any vessel. Decide where the next inspection or cleaning should go, on evidence rather than instinct.

How It Works

Data In. Decisions Out.

Hull-Sight sits quietly in the background, building a picture from data you already generate — and surfacing it the moment a hull starts to drift toward a costly state.

01

Ingest

Vessel routing (AIS), sea-temperature and biological data, speed, and ship-profile specifications flow into the platform.

02

Model

The fouling-risk engine combines those inputs into a per-vessel risk score that updates as conditions and operations change.

03

Inspect & Record

When a survey is warranted, the footage and findings are stored and analysed in the platform — building each hull's history.

04

Report & Act

Automated reports support the cleaning decision and your compliance record — and feed back to sharpen the next prediction.

Better with inspection — but not dependent on it. Hull-Sight delivers value from operating data alone. Add Vesselity's micro-ROV inspection service and the loop closes: real underwater evidence both informs the cleaning call and continuously calibrates the risk model.
Who It's For

Built for the People Who Answer
for Fuel and Compliance.

If hull condition lands on your desk as a cost, a deadline, or an emissions figure, Hull-Sight is built to make that part of the job easier.

🛳️

Ship Owners

Protect asset value and fuel budgets by acting on fouling before it becomes an expensive, fleet-wide problem.

⚙️

Fleet & Technical Managers

Plan cleaning and inspection across many vessels with one prioritised view instead of a stack of fixed schedules.

⛴️

Ferry & Ro-Ro Operators

Keep tight, repeated schedules efficient — small drag gains compound fast on high-frequency routes.

🌱

Sustainability & Compliance

Back up CII and efficiency reporting with hull-condition evidence and a defensible cleaning rationale.

Getting Started

From First Contact to Live Dashboard
in Days, Not Months.

Hull-Sight is a cloud platform — there is no hardware to install. Onboarding is fast, and the risk model starts building from the moment the first vessel profile is entered.

📋

Step 1 — Scope Your Fleet

We discuss which vessels to bring in first — typically starting with the two or three that are highest-risk or due for a class survey. No need to commit the whole fleet upfront.

🛰️

Step 2 — Connect the Data

The platform ingests AIS routing data (automatically from existing feeds), sea-temperature and biological data (external sources), and your vessel-profile specifications. Typically live within a few working days.

📊

Step 3 — See Your First Risk View

Within days you have a per-vessel fouling-risk picture. From here it updates continuously — and each inspection you add, whether via our ROV service or your own, sharpens the model further.

Ready to See Your Fleet's Fouling Risk?

We can run a preliminary risk profile for your fleet from publicly available data — at no cost — so you see what Hull-Sight would show before committing to anything.

Use It on Its Own

Valuable from the First Vessel.

Hull-Sight is designed to pair with Vesselity's inspection service, but it does not require it. On its own, the platform already changes how you manage hull maintenance — turning a guessing game into a prioritised, evidence-backed plan.

Bring your own inspection data, or simply use the fouling-risk view to decide where to send a diver or an ROV next. When you are ready, the full predict-inspect-decide loop is one step away.

Independent, But Connected

The same platform that scores fouling risk also stores and analyses the inspections that confirm it — so adopting the service later means no migration and no lost history.

🧩

In Short

Software only: prioritise and document.
Software + service: predict, prove, and improve.
Either way: hull decisions on data, not the calendar.
