The right equipment, matched to the job.
SepcoTech specifies and supplies the equipment that keeps vessels and offshore assets working - repair, inspection, robotics and protection - from the 22 manufacturers we represent. Working across that range is what lets us point you to the one that genuinely fits your job.
A distributor is only worth having if it saves you work
SepcoTech is a maritime equipment distributor based in Roskilde, Denmark, supplying worldwide. We work in a narrow band of the industry and we know it well: repairing and protecting steel and pipework, inspecting things that are hard to reach, putting robots in the water instead of divers, and keeping onboard systems compliant.
What we are not is a catalogue with a phone number attached. Our portfolio is deliberately overlapping - two brands of surface-preparation tool, several classes of ROV, both blasting and scaling - because a customer with a real problem needs a recommendation, and a recommendation is only worth something if the person making it had a genuine choice.
That shapes how we work. We would rather spend twenty minutes understanding what failed than quote the part number you sent us. Enquiries land with people who have specified and used this equipment, and when a question outruns us we go back to the manufacturer's engineers rather than guess.
Safety is the outcome of most of what we sell - a crew member inside their vibration limit, a suppression cylinder that is actually full, a diver who did not have to go in the water. But safety is the result, not the pitch. The pitch is that we understand the equipment and the job it has to do.
Four things, across six categories
Every product line we carry does one of these. If a proposal does not fit one of them, it is probably not for us.
Repair
Cold-cure epoxy systems that rebuild corroded, eroded and cavitated metal in place - often without taking the system offline or waiting for dry dock.
Epoxy Solutions →Inspect
Underwater robotics, sonar, ultrasonics, acoustic imaging and inspection at height - seeing the condition of something before it becomes a failure.
Marine Robotics →Protect
Coatings, fouling control, fire suppression and onboard air treatment - slowing down the processes that degrade an asset and its cargo.
Vessel & onboard →Prepare
Surface preparation, pumps and fluid handling - the unglamorous work that decides whether a coating or a repair lasts five years or five months.
Tools & Equipment →Three things we are not
Knowing where a supplier stops is as useful as knowing what they sell.
- We are not a manufacturer We do not build the equipment, and we are not defending a product line. That is precisely why our recommendation is worth asking for - and why, when a job needs something we do not carry, we will say so.
- We are not a general ship chandler We do not stock provisions, ropes, paint by the pallet or general stores. We work in a narrow technical band and go deep in it rather than carrying everything shallowly.
- We are not a marketplace Every brand here is one we hold a distribution agreement for. Nothing is drop-shipped from an unknown source, and there is no grey-market stock in a quote - which is what makes the manufacturer's warranty actually mean something.
From a described problem to working equipment
Most of our enquiries arrive as a symptom rather than a specification. That is the useful way round.
Describe the problem
What the asset is, what is wrong, what you know about dimensions and conditions, and when it has to be working. Photographs beat descriptions.
We specify it
We work out what suits the substrate, the access and the environment - across brands, and including the option of doing less than you asked for.
You check it yourself
Where we can, we hand you the tool rather than the answer: the Product Calculator, the ROV Finder, the Tool Selector, the comparison pages.
One quote, one order
Epoxy, tooling, an ROV and an instrument on one purchase order, one shipment and one set of paperwork. Or via ShipServ if that suits your system better.
Support after it lands
Consumables, spare parts, and a route back to the manufacturer's engineers when a question needs them. Rental first, if you would rather prove it before buying.
Capabilities you can check
Not adjectives - things that are either true or not.
22 manufacturers represented
Underwater robotics, sonar and positioning, cold-cure repair, ultrasonic inspection, acoustic imaging, surface preparation, fluid handling, coatings, fire safety and onboard air. See the network →
Four working tools
The Product Calculator, ROV Finder, Tool Selector and Compare Systems are free and need no sign-up. Each returns something you can put in a requisition.
Paperwork that passes
Safety data sheets, manuals, class and product certificates in a form a superintendent or surveyor will accept. The UNIGRIP epoxy line holds an ABS Product Certificate.

RFQs can go through your existing purchasing workflow instead of an inbox. Quote-based supply with no minimum order value.
A rental fleet
Robotic systems available for short-term hire with worldwide mobilisation, so a method can be proven on a real job before the capital is committed. Rental →
Guides, not brochures
Servicing intervals, testing technique, selection criteria and regulatory scope - including where a standard does not apply. Knowledge Center →
The expertise is people, not a page
Our team is small enough that the person who answers your enquiry is usually the person who will still be on it in six months. Job titles here map onto product lines - epoxy repairs, inspection and defence, and coordination across all categories - with direct telephone numbers and email for each.
Part of Marine Holding
SepcoTech is one of three companies in the Marine Holding group. It is worth knowing, because it means there is more engineering and commercial depth behind an enquiry than our own headcount suggests.

Start with the problem
Describe what is wrong and we will work out what it needs. If the answer is cheaper than you expected, or is something we do not sell, you will hear that too.
