◆ Mission Capability · Cross-Supplier

Secure the seabed estate.
Survey, inspect, defend.

Cables, pipelines and offshore structures are now contested infrastructure. Protecting them means route survey, confined inspection, through-water data relay and structural condition monitoring. SepcoTech scopes that across suppliers and delivers it as one capability.

The Mission

The infrastructure moved underwater. So did the risk.

Subsea cables and pipelines carry the data and energy that nations run on, and they are exposed. Protecting them is a survey-inspect-monitor problem across long routes, confined structures and poor visibility — no single platform covers it. SepcoTech specifies the mission and integrates survey AUVs, inspection ROVs, optical comms and structural inspection into one capability.

Concept of Operations

How a seabed-infrastructure mission runs

Each phase names the system that does it, and links to that system's page.

01

Cable & pipeline route survey

Survey AUVs run long, repeatable lines along cable and pipeline routes to establish a baseline and flag change — the first step in protecting a subsea asset.

02

Confined & tight-clearance inspection

A tetherless micro-ROV inspects tight clearances, J-tubes and structures where a tether would snag and a larger vehicle cannot reach.

SystemExRay · Hydromea
03

Through-water comms & data relay

Wireless optical modems move inspection data and commands through water at high rate with no acoustic signature — keeping robots connected in and around structures.

SystemLUMA optical comms · Hydromea
04

Structure & anode condition

A hovering AUV fleet inspects jackets, anodes and structural members, building a repeatable condition record without divers or a large support vessel.

05

Wide-area acoustic search

Man-portable AUVs run acoustic survey to find objects on and around a route — from dropped anchors to hostile devices.

06

Zero-visibility intervention

A zero-visibility, strong-current AUV inspects and intervenes close to structures where divers cannot safely or quickly work.

Contested Infrastructure

You cannot defend what you have never surveyed.

Protecting subsea cables, pipelines and structures starts with a baseline and a repeatable way to detect change. SepcoTech scopes the survey-inspect-monitor chain across suppliers and supports it as one.

One Partner, Not Four

How SepcoTech scopes and delivers this as one package

A seabed-infrastructure capability from SepcoTech is scoped once, across BeeX, Hydromea, RTsys and Tethys, and delivered as a single package — one specification, one quotation, one delivery schedule, one support contact. The interfaces between survey vehicle, optical comms and inspection ROV are our problem to solve, not yours.

What you get from one contract

  • One requirement scoped across every supplier
  • One specification and one quotation
  • One delivery schedule and one warranty administrator
  • One export-control conversation, not four (scope confirmed on enquiry)
  • One training programme covering the whole toolset

Why it matters operationally

When a sensor and a vehicle from different makers have to work as one picture, a single accountable partner owns the integration — so the gaps between products are our problem, not yours. Platform-agnostic: we specify against your mission profile, not a single catalogue.

Where It Works

Who runs this mission

NavyNaval vessel supporting subsea operations

Navies & Seabed-Warfare Units

Baseline survey and change-detection along cables and pipelines in national and allied waters.

OperatorsOffshore energy platform

Energy & Cable Operators

Repeatable inspection of routes, structures and anodes to protect uptime and detect interference.

PortsBusy harbour with shipping

Ports & Harbour Authorities

Monitoring quays, intakes and approaches where a single failure or device disrupts traffic.

Why SepcoTech

A safe pair of hands for defence at sea

Authorised Distributor

We represent each manufacturer directly — specification, supply and through-life support, coordinated from Denmark, inside NATO and the EU.

Scoped From the Requirement

Platform-agnostic. We specify against your mission profile and integrate across suppliers, rather than fitting your requirement to one product line.

One Contract, One Invoice

Multi-supplier systems specified, quoted and delivered as a single package by one accountable partner.

Backed Through Life

Operator and maintainer training, and through-life support for every system we supply; spares and calibration scoped on enquiry.
