Trelawny's own figures
Declared values from Trelawny's datasheets and operation manuals. Where two documents disagree on a vibration figure, we publish the higher and say so.
The worse grip
Vibration is assessed at the higher of the two hands, which is usually not the figure on the product page.
One formula
Trigger time T = 8 × (limit ÷ a)² hours, against the 2.5 and 5.0 m/s² values of Directive 2002/44/EC.
Never rounded up
Times under 10 minutes are written "under N min". Planning figures, not a risk assessment.
