Abrasive guide
Abrasives for vapour blasting should be non-ferrous, heavier than water and not soluble in it. As a rule, use the finest abrasive that still achieves the required profile.

Profile (Ry5) per ISO 8503/1, based on optimal setup; results vary with local parameters. Large abrasives are recommended only when mixed with smaller sizes such as #30/60 or #20/40.
