Navigate · Inspect · Survey · Map

One platform built for the open ocean

The FIFISH W6 NAVI is QYSEA's maritime-class ROV — engineered for sustained operation in the open sea, where depth, current and navigation demands go a step beyond the V and E Series. At 350 m depth with a 10 kg payload capacity, it reaches targets and carries equipment that lighter ROVs cannot, while its onboard navigation and survey systems turn a single dive into a complete inspection-and-survey deliverable.

  • 350 m depth rating · 10 kg payload · 360° omnidirectional movement
  • U-INS deep-learning underwater inertial navigation — no GPS or transponders
  • Q-DVL station lock · downward collision avoidance · altitude tracking

Built For The Open Sea

The problems the W6 NAVI was built to solve

Open-water inspection and survey work pushes lightweight ROVs past their limits. The W6 NAVI was designed specifically to operate where they can't.

🌑 No GPS at Depth

GPS is unavailable subsea and acoustic positioning is expensive. U-INS fuses onboard sensors with deep learning to navigate without external infrastructure.

🌊 Current & Swell

Current, swell and tether drag push a free-flying ROV off target. Q-DVL station lock holds a precise 3D position so the pilot can work hands-free.

⬇️ Depth Limits

Many micro-ROVs stop well short of deep targets. The W6 NAVI's 350 m rating reaches structures and recovery objects that lighter vehicles cannot.

📋 Two Jobs, One Dive

Inspection and survey usually mean separate mobilisations. Built-in QY-BT mapping collects seabed data during every normal inspection dive.

Station Holding

Q-DVL & Stability Systems

In open-sea conditions, current, swell and tether drag challenge any ROV's ability to hold position. Q-DVL station lock, downward collision avoidance and altitude tracking give operators a stable platform for precision inspection and measurement.

● Live

Q-DVL Station Lock

The Doppler Velocity Log measures velocity against the seabed and feeds the flight controller — holding a precise 3D position in current. Release the controls and the ROV stays put at the inspection point.

● Live

Downward Collision Avoidance

Downward sonar continuously monitors clearance to the seabed and structures below, raising proximity alerts and limiting downward motion to protect the ROV and fragile bottom-mounted infrastructure.

● Live

Altitude Tracking

Maintains a constant height above the seabed, following contour changes as the bottom rises and falls — essential for survey transects, cable tracking and pipeline inspection.

Imaging System

Dual 4K UHD Cameras & 12,000-Lumen Lighting

Two independent 4K cameras give the pilot a forward navigation view and a downward inspection view at the same time — lit by the brightest LED system in the FIFISH range.

Dual 4K UHD · 166° horizontal field of view
Dual 4K UHD · 12 MP · ISO 6400

See forward and below — in one dive

The forward 4K camera is the primary navigation view, with a 166° horizontal FOV that keeps the full scene in frame on approach. The downward 4K camera documents the seabed and structure surfaces below and feeds the QY-BT mapping data stream. Each camera captures 12 MP stills, and a maximum ISO of 6,400 holds detail in the reduced-light deep environment.

🎥

Dual 4K UHD Cameras

Forward navigation and downward inspection views simultaneously — 12 MP stills from each for full-detail structural documentation.

🌐

166° / 100° Wide FOV

An ultra-wide field keeps the full scene in frame on approach manoeuvres and captures large structure sections in a single pass.

💡

12,000-Lumen LEDs

The brightest LED system in the FIFISH range, matched to the dual-camera FOV for even illumination without shadows at structural edges.

🌑

ISO 6400 Low-Light

Maximum ISO of 6,400 captures detail in deep water beyond effective LED range, inside dark structures and where lighting cannot be positioned optimally.

📡

Optional 2D Imaging Sonar

An optional 2D imaging sonar identifies objects and landscapes in dark or turbid water where cameras alone cannot resolve the scene.

🗺️

Feeds QY-BT Mapping

The downward camera's data stream feeds bathymetric mapping, so survey-quality seabed data is collected during the same inspection dive.

Optional · 2D Imaging Sonar

See in zero-visibility water

When silt, plankton or depth defeat the cameras, the optional 2D imaging sonar lets the W6 NAVI identify objects and landscapes acoustically — keeping search, recovery and inspection work moving in dark or turbid conditions where vision-only ROVs are blind.

  • Object & landscape identification in dark or turbid water
  • Extends search-and-recovery range beyond camera visibility
  • Complements the dual-camera system for all-conditions operation
Survey & Measurement

QY-BT Bathymetric Mapping & QY-MT Measurement

The W6 NAVI builds professional 2D and 3D seafloor data during normal inspection dives, and measures structures and damage to millimetre level with the QY-MT laser scaler — two survey deliverables from one deployment.

Bathymetric Survey · QY-BT

QY-BT — Built-In Bathymetric Mapping

QY-BT generates professional 2D and 3D seafloor topographic data during normal inspection dives — colour-coded depth maps with configurable resolution and coverage. Three-dimensional models show scour holes, sediment mounds and pipeline exposure in a format clients and engineers can read without specialist GIS software, and the system can estimate reservoir and basin storage volumes from the survey data.

  • 2D planimetric depth maps & 3D topographic seabed models
  • Configurable map resolution and coverage area
  • Reservoir & basin volume / capacity estimation
  • Seabed data collected during every dive — not just dedicated survey passes

Measurement · QY-MT Laser Scaler

QY-MT — Millimetre-Level Measurement

The QY-MT laser scaler turns the camera feed into a measurement instrument — capturing length, width, area, perimeter and angles directly on the seabed or on a structure. Measurements are recorded with the footage for inspection reports, and pair with the bathymetric survey to produce comprehensive, documented deliverables.

  • Millimetre-level length, width, area, perimeter and angle measurement
  • Measurements overlaid live and recorded with the inspection footage
  • Both real-time and post-dive (offline) analysis
  • Combines with QY-BT survey data for complete deliverables
