FIFISH V-EVO — Compact 4K AI Inspection ROV
QYSEA's most portable entry into the FIFISH range — 4K 60 FPS imaging, 360° omnidirectional control and AI Vision Lock in a one-person, backpack-sized inspection ROV. Evolution through imaging.
The V-EVO in the Water
Portable · Smart · Affordable
The affordable way into professional FIFISH imaging
The FIFISH V-EVO is QYSEA's most accessible underwater ROV — the entry point into the FIFISH range. It packs 4K imaging, AI-assisted tracking and full 360° control into a compact, backpack-sized body that a single person can carry, launch and recover without a crane or support vessel.
For light-commercial inspection, survey scouting, research and dive support, it puts genuinely capable underwater eyes within reach of teams and budgets that a full industrial ROV would over-serve.
- 4K UHD at 60 FPS · 166° ultra-wide field of view
- AI Vision Lock with four intelligent tracking modes
- Adaptive AI plankton filtering for clearer turbid-water footage
- 5,000-lumen LEDs at 5,500K — daylight-accurate colour at depth
- 360° omnidirectional mobility · 3-knot speed · 2-knot flow resistance
- Up to 4 hours hovering / 1 hour full-mobility dive time
- Expandable with robotic arm, grippers, sonar, GPS and more
A practical first ROV for real work
The V-EVO is the consumer-class FIFISH model — but in professional hands it earns its keep as a low-cost, fast-deploy platform for the jobs that don't need a full industrial system.
💼 Low Entry Cost
The most affordable FIFISH ROV — a sensible first platform for teams testing ROV-based inspection before scaling up.
🎒 Truly Portable
Backpack-sized and one-person deployable from a quay, RIB or shoreline — no crane, winch or support vessel.
👁️ Keeps Divers Dry
Scout, preview and document a site before anyone gets wet — useful for dive support and quick condition checks.
🎥 Documentation-Ready
4K 60 FPS footage with AI tracking and plankton filtering produces records clear enough for reports and review.
4K 60 FPS Imaging & 5,000-Lumen Lighting
Engineered for accurate colour and sharp detail in difficult underwater light — the V-EVO's optical system is the heart of its inspection and documentation value.
See more, in worse water, in finer detail
A 4K UHD camera shooting at 60 FPS captures smooth, detailed footage for documentation, inspection and film work, with real-time colour balance and dynamic noise reduction keeping subjects natural at depth. The 166° ultra-wide field of view takes in the full scale of a hull section, jetty pile or reef in a single frame.
- Dual LED arrays at 5,500K reproduce true colour where depth shifts everything blue
- Real-time colour balance and dynamic noise reduction
- One-touch livestream via the FIFISH app; optional HDMI Box for broadcast output
4K · 60 FPS High Frame-Rate Camera
Smooth, high-frame-rate 4K footage of reef and marine life — the same imaging chain used for inspection documentation.
Adaptive AI Plankton Filtering
Side-by-side without vs with: on-board AI suppresses suspended white marine flakes for clearer footage in turbid coastal water.
Footage captured with the FIFISH V-EVO
AI Vision Lock — Intelligent Tracking
Vision Lock uses real-time visual AI to automatically track, centre and follow an underwater subject — freeing the pilot to focus on the mission instead of constant manual framing.
Touch a target, let the ROV keep it framed
Vision Lock turns subject-following into a one-tap action. Four modes cover the common framing problems — locking, zooming, orbiting and switching targets — so even a single operator can capture stable, usable footage while piloting.
Touch Lock
Tap any subject and the V-EVO centres and holds it in frame as both ROV and subject move.
Station Zoom
Pinch-to-zoom physically moves the ROV closer or back — not a digital crop — for full-resolution detail.
Off-Centre Lock
Hold a fixed distance from a locked target while adjusting heading and angle — ideal for orbiting inspections.
Slide Lock
Swipe to switch focus between targets in the frame — useful for multi-subject monitoring.
Adaptive AI Sea Plankton Filtering
The V-EVO's on-board AI continuously analyses the video feed and suppresses the white marine flakes and suspended particles that ruin underwater footage — markedly improving image quality in coastal waters, estuaries and any environment with biological or sediment turbidity.
Hydrodynamic Design & 360° Mobility
The V-EVO's waterproof body is shaped to move as naturally underwater as a marine animal — every curve reduces drag, every thruster contributes to full-sphere control.
Move in any direction, hold any angle
Full six-degrees-of-freedom control lets the V-EVO move forward/back, left/right and up/down while rotating on every axis — hovering on station, rolling for cinematic angles, or locking posture for a precise inspection view. The hydrodynamic shell minimises drag and the vibration that would otherwise blur footage.
- Station hovering — automatically holds position and depth with no constant pilot input
- 360° roll & posture control — level, tilted or inverted for any camera angle
- −10°C to 60°C operating range for cold-water and tropical work
- VR immersive control — first-person piloting with compatible goggles (sold separately)
Built for Portable Inspection & Light Commercial Work
4K imaging, AI tracking and 100 m depth in a one-person package — the V-EVO covers the everyday underwater tasks that don't justify a full industrial ROV.
Portable Inspection
Survey jetties, pontoons, harbour walls, boat hulls and marina structures to 100 m — paired with the robotic arm or hook for simple intervention.
Diver Support & Scouting
Scout conditions and points of interest before a dive, and give the surface team live video and a spotter view during operations.
Aquaculture Monitoring
Check nets, moorings and stock at fish farms with minimal disturbance — a low-cost daily-use eye underwater.
Research & Conservation
Document reef health, monitor habitats and collect visual data with no diver disturbance — widely used by universities and NGOs.
Education & STEM
A classroom and field tool for marine-science and oceanography programmes — hands-on access to the underwater world.
Underwater Cinematography
4K 60 FPS footage, AI tracking and cinematic movement modes for documentary-quality footage without a crewed dive team.
Compatible Accessories
The V-EVO's Q-IF Multi-Tool Extension Interface connects a range of accessories that turn it from a camera platform into a multi-mission underwater tool.
Robotic Arm
70N clamping force and 70N carry/drag weight for retrieving, moving and recovering underwater objects.
Parallel Gripper
Flat-jaw gripper for handling flat, rigid objects such as sample containers, panels and equipment.
Retrieval Hook
Latch onto rings, handles, lines and structural features for object retrieval and positional holding.
Robotic Cage Claw
Cage-style claw for irregular objects — a secure grip on uneven surfaces during recovery.
Image Sonar
Navigate and inspect in zero-visibility, turbid or night conditions where the camera alone cannot see.
U-QPS Underwater GPS
Real-time position tracking with POI labelling — mark and record the location of findings during dives.
HDMI Box
Professional HDMI video output for broadcast, studio and live-event applications.
Waterproof Backpack
Carry and protect the V-EVO system in the field — dive boat, shoreline deployment or travel.
