Powerful · High Precision · Intelligent
An industry-class inspection ROV in a compact size
The FIFISH V6 PLUS is QYSEA's enterprise advanced-inspection ROV — the most capable model in the V Series. It builds on the V6 EXPERT's professional imaging with the tools to quantify what you see: an intelligent distance & altitude sonar lock for consistent standoff and altitude, plus AR Ruler and laser-scaler measurement with ±1 cm precision, all from a 5 kg platform one person can carry and launch.
- 150 m depth rating with a 200 m standard tether
- AR Ruler + laser scaler — ±1 cm precision, machine vision and laser combined
- Intelligent distance & altitude sonar lock with obstacle avoidance and terrain scan
- 4K UHD · 12 MP · 240 FPS slow-motion · F/2.5 · 166° FOV
- DNG (RAW) capture · 128 GB SD storage · 6,000-lumen 5,500 K LEDs
- True 360° omnidirectional movement with posture lock and depth lock
- Optional Onshore Power Supply System · VR head-tracking support
The problems the V6 PLUS was built to solve
Visual-only inspection ROVs leave engineers guessing. The V6 PLUS adds measurement, sonar awareness and depth to remove those limits.
📐 Can't Measure
Visual footage alone isn't quantifiable. AR Ruler and the laser scaler deliver ±1 cm, documented measurement straight from the feed.
🌊 Drift & Standoff
Holding a fixed distance from a hull or dam face by hand is tiring and inconsistent. Distance and altitude lock hold it automatically.
⚠️ Blind Spots
Nets, debris and protrusions are easy to hit in confined water. Forward sonar warns of obstacles and scans terrain ahead.
⏱️ Runtime Limits
Battery endurance caps long inspections. The optional Onshore Power Supply System runs continuously through the tether.
True 360° Omnidirectional Movement
A six-thruster vectored layout moves the V6 PLUS in all six axes at once — with posture lock and depth lock holding it steady for clean, repeatable inspection passes.
Move freely, then hold rock-steady
The V6 PLUS moves forward, laterally, vertically and rotates fully — all simultaneously. With no fixed thruster alignment there are no blind angles in confined spaces, around structures or during close-up inspection. When you need to stop and document, posture lock and depth lock hold the vehicle's attitude and depth so the camera stays on target.
- Six-axis vectored thrust for omnidirectional control
- Posture lock (IMU-based) and depth lock (pressure-sensor based)
- Q-STEADY electronic stabilisation for smooth, usable footage
Intelligent Distance & Altitude Lock
The V6 PLUS pairs forward and downward sonar to hold a precise standoff distance, lock altitude above the seabed, avoid obstacles and scan the terrain ahead — keeping inspection runs consistent and safe.
Hold a precise standoff — hands free
Forward-facing sonar maintains a programmed standoff distance from any target surface — hull plating, pipe walls, dam faces — automatically holding distance as the surface contours change so the camera stays at the optimal focal range. Downward sonar measures height above the seabed and holds a set altitude, essential for survey transects and pipeline passes that need consistent height for accurate data.
- Forward distance lock — consistent standoff for close inspection
- Downward altitude lock — steady height for survey & mapping passes
- Foundation for clean, repeatable AR Ruler measurement
Forward Distance Lock
Holds a programmed standoff from target surfaces and adjusts automatically as the surface contours change, keeping the camera at the optimal focal distance throughout a run.
Downward Altitude Lock
Measures height above the seabed in real time and holds a set altitude — essential for seabed transects, pipeline passes and mapping where consistent height matters.
Obstacle Awareness
Forward sonar scans ahead for obstacles — nets, debris, structural protrusions — and alerts the pilot, while terrain scan maps the seabed depth profile ahead of the ROV.
AR Ruler & Laser Scaler
The V6 PLUS combines two complementary measurement methods — an augmented-reality virtual ruler and a physical dual-point laser scaler — for ±1 cm precision directly in the live feed, with no contact with the subject.
Tap two points. Read the measurement.
The AR Ruler overlays a virtual measurement scale on the live video feed using machine-vision analysis. Tap two points on the screen and the distance between them is measured in real time — no physical contact with the subject required. Measurements are embedded in the recorded footage, so crack widths, corrosion areas and structural gaps are documented as you fly.
- Measure crack widths, corrosion areas and structural gaps
- No physical contact — works from a distance
- Measurements embedded in recorded footage for reporting
AR Ruler in Action
Tap two points to measure distances live in the FIFISH app feed — the virtual ruler tracks the scene as the ROV moves.
Dual-Point Laser Scaler
Two parallel laser points at a calibrated separation project a permanent scale reference onto the subject — visible in recorded footage.
AR Ruler
A virtual scale overlaid on the live feed by machine-vision analysis — quantify what you see without touching it.
- ±1 cm measurement accuracy
- Measure crack widths, corrosion areas and structural gaps
- No physical contact — works from a distance
- Measurements embedded in recorded footage
- Customisable virtual-ruler orientation
Laser Scaler
Two parallel laser points are projected onto the subject at a precisely calibrated fixed separation — a permanent scale reference burned into the footage.
- Permanent scale reference visible in recorded footage
- Measurement via the FIFISH App and PC software
- Works on video review after the dive
- Defensible scale for reporting & compliance documentation
Inspection reporting: AR Ruler measurements and laser-scaler footage can be included directly in inspection reports — providing reproducible measurement evidence for structural assessment, maintenance planning and regulatory compliance.
4K Imaging, 6,000-Lumen Lighting & VR Control
A professional imaging package for defensible inspection records — with optional VR head-tracking for a true first-person dive.
See it in fine detail, document it in RAW

Q-Motor & Flexible Power Options
Corrosion-resistant Q-Motor thrusters and two power options — standard battery for mobile work, or the optional Onshore Power Supply System for continuous fixed-site operation.
Run all day from a topside power source
QYSEA's Q-Motor system pairs corrosion- and sediment-resistant thruster seals with stabilisation tuned for demanding saltwater work. For mobile deployments the internal battery gives portable, cable-free operation; for long fixed-site inspections the optional Onshore Power Supply System routes power through the tether from a topside unit — so battery endurance no longer limits productivity.
- Q-Motor — corrosion- and sediment-resistant thruster seals
- Standard internal battery for portable, cable-free deployments
- Optional Onshore Power Supply System for continuous fixed-site runtime
