Measure Flow Through the Pipe: No Cutting, No Shutdown
Coltraco's clamp-on transit-time flow meters strap onto the outside of a pipe and read the flow inside it ultrasonically, to ±0.5%, on lines from DN15 to DN2500. Verify fuel-oil transfer during bunkering, balance cooling-water lines across the engine room or confirm a pump is delivering to spec: nothing is cut, nothing is drained, and the system keeps running while you measure.

Transit-time flow, read from outside the pipe
A pair of ultrasonic sensors clamp to the pipe wall. The meter times a pulse sent with the flow against one sent against it, and the tiny difference gives the flow velocity, and from the pipe data, the flow rate. Because the sensors never touch the fluid, there's no pipe-cutting, no leak path and no shutdown, which is ideal for cooling, bunkering, ballast and process lines aboard ship and ashore. Choose the portable Portasonic® for spot surveys and commissioning, or the permanently installed Permaflow® for continuous monitoring and heat metering.
